FAQ
Common questions
What's in the report?
Exactly how much time you left on the table in your race, broken down station by station, every split ranked vs. your age group and worldwide, a plain-English plan to close your biggest gaps, your full race history, your Hyrox DNA archetype, and a shareable card.
Why does this cost $19.99?
A coach or trainer would normally charge $100-150 for a session to work out the same thing: where your time actually went and what to fix first. This gives you that same answer, built from your real race data, for $19.99, with no appointment needed.
Do I need an account?
No. Search your name, select your race, pay once, and get instant access. No login required.
What if my race isn't in the database?
Search is free — you'll see whether your report is ready before you pay anything. If your event isn't in the database yet, you simply won't find it in search and won't be charged.
What if my name returns multiple results?
Each result card shows your nationality and race count. Select the one that matches your country and number of Hyrox races to identify yourself.
My name has an accent or special characters — how do I search?
Type your name with or without accents — both work. 'García' and 'Garcia' return the same results. If you're not finding yourself, try your first name only, or your last name only, then browse.
Does this work for all divisions?
Yes — Men's, Women's, and all age groups are supported. Doubles and Relay results are now supported too — search by any team member's name to find your result.
What's a good Hyrox time?
It depends on your division, age group, and gender — a good time for a 25-39 Men's Open finish is different from a good time for a 50+ Women's Pro finish. RaceDecoded's benchmark pages show the real median and percentile times for every division and age group, based on official results, instead of a single rule of thumb.
What is Roxzone?
Roxzone is the official Hyrox term for the transition area between each run and station. Time spent walking in, setting up, and walking out of Roxzone counts toward your total race time, which is why it shows up as its own category in RaceDecoded reports.
How do I find my Hyrox results?
Search your name on RaceDecoded's athletes page. If you've raced before, you'll see every recorded result, your finish times, and how you ranked, for free, before deciding whether to unlock the full report.
How long does a Hyrox race take to finish?
Most first-time finishers land somewhere between 1 hour 15 minutes and 1 hour 45 minutes. Competitive Open athletes usually finish closer to 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes, and the fastest Pro athletes break the hour mark. Your actual target depends heavily on your division, age group, and gender, which is exactly what RaceDecoded's benchmark pages break down using real results instead of a single average.
What's a good Hyrox time for a beginner?
For a first race, finishing is the real win, and most beginners land in the 1 hour 30 minute to 1 hour 50 minute range. Don't chase a number from someone else's race. Your own first finish time becomes the baseline every future race gets measured against, which matters more than how it compares to anyone else's.
How do I train for my first Hyrox race?
Train both halves of the race, not just one. Most beginners over-train running and under-train the stations, then get surprised by how much the sled push and sandbag lunges cost them late in the race. Practice running on tired legs, right after a station, since that is the actual demand of race day. Once you've raced once, your RaceDecoded report shows exactly which half, running or stations, is really costing you time, so your next training block targets the real problem instead of a guess.
Is Hyrox harder than CrossFit?
They test different things, so "harder" depends on what you're comparing. CrossFit workouts change daily and reward broad, unpredictable fitness. Hyrox is the same eight runs and eight stations every single time, which rewards pacing, consistency, and knowing exactly how hard you can push each leg without blowing up the next one. A strong CrossFitter can still struggle with a Hyrox race's specific demand: running 8 kilometers on legs that are also doing heavy carries and sled work.
